Mountain Biking in Gatlinburg

The Experience

CLIMB Works makes it incredibly convenient to go mountain biking in Gatlinburg, as they provide the trail, the bikes, and everything else you need. The mountain bike experience is 3.5 hours long and is open year round, weather permitting. If you have never been mountain biking before, CLIMB Works is the perfect place to start. Their friendly staff will find you the ideal bicycle for your body type and are more than happy to answer any questions you might have. For a true adrenaline rush, be sure to try out the flagship feature of the mountain bike course, “The Curliest”. This tailor-made wooden structure is like a rollercoaster in the forest!

The mountain bike rentals from CLIMB Works are high end full suspension Trek bikes that have superior control and stability. Youth bikes are available for children ages 7 and older. All rentals are inspected before and after they have been used, so bikes are guaranteed to be in excellent condition. In addition, CLIMB Works has simplified the gear controls so that participants can shift gears more easily. Participants can also bring along their own bike as long as it is in safe and rideable condition.

Requirements and Pricing

Anyone who is comfortable riding a bike, has decent coordination, and is ready to sweat, can enjoy mountain biking at CLIMB Works! All participants must be at least seven years old and weigh less than 300 pounds. In addition, anyone under the age of 18 must have an adult riding with them. The mountain bike pricing is $59 for a half day rental, or just $25 for those who have their own bike.

Ziplining at CLIMB Works is the ultimate Gatlinburg sports experience! This incredible canopy tour consists of 14 amazing adventures on nine different zip lines, three canopy sky bridges, and a special surprise at the end of the tour. After a fun four-wheel ride to the top of the mountain, zipliners won’t touch the ground again for another 2.5 hours! While enjoying incredible views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which surrounds the course on three sides, participants will zip over ravines, trees, streams, and wildlife. The CLIMB Works zipline canopy tour is open year round and all tours are led by trained experts who will accompany participants from start to finish. In addition, all equipment exceeds industry standards and is inspected before and after each use.

Requirements and Pricing

All participants must be at least seven years old, weigh less than 270 pounds, and wear closed-toe shoes. In addition, anyone under the age of 18 needs to have an adult ziplining with them. CLIMB Works recommends that all participants be in moderately good health and be able to stand on their feet for at least 2.5 hours. The canopy tour is only $89 per person, and discounts are available for guests who combine ziplining with mountain biking.
