Mountain Thicket Senior Showcase
When? Friday, January 9, 2026 – Sunday, January 11, 2026
Who? Class of 2026 Football Players and Cheerleaders
The inaugural Mountain Thicket Senior Showcase is a premier postseason and exposure event opportunity for deserving Class of 2026 football players and cheerleaders! What separates us from other showcase events? We split up each game by school/program size. Each selected player and cheerleader from smaller schools/programs (i.e. enrollment under 650, K-12 schools, Homeschool programs) will participate in Game 1. Game 2 will feature players and cheerleaders from larger programs (over 650 enrollment). Gatlinburg is the perfect location for a postseason event like this and fun for the whole family.
Our team at RTSW knows what it takes to run a successful postseason event that will not only give athletes lifelong memories but also exposure opportunities that are so essential in the winter months of a senior football player and cheerleader. Each game will be broadcasted. The Game Stadium is outfitted with a HUDL Focus camera system and HUDL game film is included in every player package. Through our partnership with National Scouting Report, we will have a college scout onsite for all practices and games.
Nomination/Selection Process:
Early nominations will open in the spring and nominations will continue to stay open through the football regular season. A Selection Committee of knowledgeable members (media, coaches, scouts, etc.) will review and grade every nomination. The highest graded players and cheerleaders will receive the first round of invites.
Cheer Note: Cheerleaders will need to be ready to submit a short audition video for the Cheer Committee to review. More instructions on this will be in the Nomination Form.
Playing Time:
Playing time is our top priority! We use roster restrictions and 15-minute quarters to ensure every athlete gets his/her ample time to shine.
