At a height of 50 feet, the Indoor Ropes Challenge is guaranteed to take you and your friends to a whole new level of fun. Here is all of the information you need to know about this unique and thrilling attraction:

About the Course

The Indoor Ropes Challenge features 4 stories of ropes with a set of more than 50 various obstacles and activities. As you attempt the course, you will be challenged by a tremor bridge, lily pads, swinging steps, and much more. The course is a great way to test both your mental and physical abilities while enjoying a pure adrenaline rush! Athletes coming from the tournaments at Rocky Top Sports World will be especially impressed as they attempt to conquer a new challenge. As a bonus, since the Indoor Ropes Challenge is located completely inside WonderWorks, it can be enjoyed rain or shine!

Safety Requirements

Although the Indoor Ropes Challenge at WonderWorks is a safe activity, there are several restrictions in place to make it as secure and fun as possible. WonderWorks requires that all participants wear closed shoes and proper dress, and no skirts or dresses are permitted. In addition, all participants must be at least 42″ with an adult or 48″ to participate on their own. The maximum height is 80″ and the maximum weight is 300 lbs, and all participants must fit safely in the harness. Finally, any participants who are 18 years or older must sign a waiver prior to attempting the course.

The Indoor Ropes Challenge is situated inside of the WonderWorks building at 100 Music Road in Pigeon Forge. WonderWorks is one of the easiest structures to find in Pigeon Forge – just look for the building that is completely upside down! There is plenty of free parking available in the lot in front of the building.

Dates and Times

WonderWorks is conveniently open 365 days per year from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Note that the last ticket is sold 90 minutes prior to closing.

Ticket Information

Unlimited admission to the Indoor Ropes Challenge is included with a WonderWorks ticket! General admission to WonderWorks is only $24.99 plus tax for adults and $16.99 plus tax for children. In addition to the Indoor Ropes Challenge, general admission tickets include all of the museum’s exhibits. WonderWorks also offers various combination tickets that include access to a game of laser tag and admission to a magic show.

WonderWorks is a massive indoor complex that contains more than 100 hands-on exhibits that are designed to educate and entertain. The adventure starts with a walk through an inversion tunnel, which leads to six incredible WonderZones of fun! These include the Natural Disasters Zone, Physical Challenge Zone, Light & Sound Zone, Space Discovery Zone, Imagination Lab, and the Far Out Art Gallery.
