About the Camp
In addition to meeting a few of their favorite athletes, players who attend the Harlem Globetrotters summer basketball camp at Rocky Top Sports World are in for a real treat. The instructors and camp coaches with the team will be passing on their knowledge of dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork along to all attendees. They will also hold a special class where they even teach a few of their iconic ball handling tricks.
What makes this summer basketball camp at Rocky Top Sports World different from other youth events is the strong emphasis both the players and coaches for the Harlem Globetrotters have for good character development and positive attitudes. This means that in addition to learning how to be a better player, students who attend this camp will also learn how to be better teammates, on and off the court.
Who Is Invited?
Do you love laughing and having fun? Do you love basketball? Are you an aspiring athlete between the ages of 6 and 14? If so, then you are invited to join the Harlem Globetrotters for their summer basketball camp at Rocky Top Sports World. No prior experience is required.

Both male and female players are invited to join in the fun. Parents can watch their star athlete from the open-air observation area located above our basketball courts on the second floor.
Dates & Cost
The Harlem Globetrotters are hosting four separate camps at our Gatlinburg sports complex, June 20-21, 2015. The cost to attend the camp is $75 per camper in advance and $90 at the door.
Camp times are:
- Saturday June 20: 9 a.m.-noon
- Saturday June 20: 2-5 p.m.
- Sunday June 21: 2-5 p.m.
- Sunday June 21: 6-9 p.m.

About the Harlem Globetrotters
For nearly 90 years, the Harlem Globetrotters have wowed their fans with their masterful blend of basketball tricks and techniques. Originally called the Savoy Big Five, the team has gone on to host over 20,000 exciting games in over 120 different countries and has easily become one of the most well-recognized franchises in basketball history.
In 2012, the Harlem Globetrotters first introduced their version of summer basketball camps for young players. This is the first year the team is hosting a summer basketball camp at Rocky Top Sports World, and we hope to see them back next year!
