All of the fun will take place at Rocky Top Sports World, which is located at 1870 Sports World Blvd in Gatlinburg, TN. About James “Little Man” Stewart

James “Little Man” Stewart began his football career about an hour away from Gatlinburg at Morristown West High School, where he was the star running back for the Trojans. In college, Stewart played for the University of Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville. One of the team’s standout players, Stewart accumulated 2,890 yards and 35 touchdowns over the course of his collegiate career. “Little Man” remains the Vols’ No. 3 all-time leading rusher.

In 1995, Stewart was a first-round draft pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars. “Little Man” spent five seasons with the Jaguars, during which he was an integral part of their offense. Stewart still holds the franchise record for most touchdowns in a single game (5) and most points scored in a single game (30).

As a free agent, Stewart signed with the Detroit Lions for the 2000 season. In his first year with the Lions, “Little Man” rushed for a career-high 1,184 yards and 10 touchdowns. A severe shoulder injury in 2002 ended Stewart’s career in the NFL. Today, Stewart owns his own personal training studio in Jacksonville, FL.

The James “Little Man” Stewart Football Camp is open to boys in grades 2 (age 7) through 12 (rising high school seniors). The camp will focus on both the fundamentals of football and life lessons that Stewart has learned throughout this career.

As Stewart explains, “football is obviously a big part [of the camp], but we also want to talk to these kids about life. We want to talk to them about what we went through, and the perils they’re going to have to face and things they’ll have to do to overcome them.”

Joining Stewart at the camp is Scotty Dykes, a Newport, TN native who was a hugely successful receiver at East Tennessee State University. Dykes holds the No. 2 spot for return yards in a single season at ETSU and the college’s No. 9 spot for all-time receiving yards in a single season.
