One of Rocky Top Sports World’s most popular football camps is returning this June! Legendary University of Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer will lead a three-day camp for youth football teams and players from across the nation. Last year’s inaugural Hall of Fame camp was a huge success, and we expect this year to be even bigger and better. Read on for everything you need to know about the upcoming camp.
When and Where
The Phillip Fulmer Hall of Fame Football Camp will take place from June 15 – 17, 2017. All of the fun will be held at Rocky Top Sports World, our 80-acre sports campus in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Rocky Top Sports World is located at 1870 Sports World Blvd, just a 10-minute drive from all of the attractions, restaurants, and shops in downtown Gatlinburg, TN.
What to Expect at the Camp
Participants in the Phillip Fulmer Hall of Fame Football Camp will have the chance to learn from one of the greatest college coaches of all time. As Head Football Coach at the University of Tennessee from 1992 – 2008, Fulmer led the Vols to victory in two SEC Championships and a BCS National Championship Game. During his tenure with the Vols, Fulmer had an astounding 74 percent winning percentage. 92 players who were coached by Phillip Fulmer have gone on to play in the NFL.
The Hall of Fame Camp is an all positions fundamental and technique football camp. Campers will receive individual positional instruction from Fulmer and other experienced coaches. The camp will also include a 7 on 7 passing competition.
How to Register
The Phillip Fulmer Hall of Fame Football Camp is open to boys and young men between the ages of 7 and 18 (rising high school seniors). Players can either register as individuals or they can register as part of a team. If you are unable to participate in the entire three-day camp, you can register for just one or two days.
