One of the most unique events, the World Cube Association competition, is coming up soon and we have all the details you need to participate in this exciting event! Here are 3 things you need to know about the World Cube Association Event in Gatlinburg TN:
1. Event Details
The World Cube Association competition is an event in Gatlinburg TN where participants compete to solve “twisty puzzles,” the most famous being the Rubik’s Cube invented by professor Rubik from Hungary. A selection of these types of puzzles are chosen by the World Cube Association to be a part of this event. If you are a fan of these puzzles and always impressing your friends with your puzzle-solving skills, you may have just what it takes to win the competition! The event takes place on December 7th and 8th at Rocky Top Sports World, so make your plans now to attend!
2. Registration Information
You may register for the World Cube Association competition until November 22, 2019. Keep in mind there is a competitor limit of 100 individuals, so register as soon as possible! Once the competitor limit has been reached, you can still be put on a waiting list in case there is a cancellation. If you are the first person on the waiting list and someone cancels their registration, you will receive a notification email from the event organizers. Just remember you must confirm your registration within 24 hours of receiving the email or the next person on the list is offered your spot!
3. About the World Cube Association
The World Cube Association is based out of Los Angeles, California and governs competitions for mechanical puzzles that are operated by twisting groups of pieces. Over the past 10 years, more than 100,000 people have competed in their events across 140 different countries! The World Cube Association is entirely run by volunteers who continue to arrange events across the world. There is no minimum age to attend any of the events, including the upcoming competition at Rocky Top Sports World.
